Staccabatteria: bipolare o esapolare?

Salve a tutti.

Dovendo montare uno staccabatteria, sono indeciso se prendere un bipolare (stacca solo la tensione generata dalla batt.), o un esapolare (stacca anche la tensione generata dall'alternatore).
Mi è stato detto che l'R53 ha il cavo passante per entrambe le appendici, ovvero batteria ed alternatore, e che quindi basterebbe un semplice bipolare. Voi cosa mi consigliate??

Quello che voglio sapere è se posso evitare l'esapolare facendo le stesse funzioni con un bipolare (come mi è stato detto del cavo passante..), o devo ricorrere a quest'ultimo.
