Parabrezza crepato - quanto resiste?

Oggi ho scoperto una crepa sul parabrezza, all'esterno nella zona del sensore pioggia, una specie di L lunga 10 cm :(

Purtroppo l'ho scoperto oggi, e domani parto per 3 settimane in cui l'auto dovrebbe stare parcheggiata in cortile. Devo fare qualche accortezza? Dite che quando torno c'è il rischio che il vetro sia completamente crepato? causa sole/pioggia/sbalzi di temperatura etc? Meglio coprire il vetro con qualcosa?
