La MINI 40 è stata un' edizione speciale della MINI prodotta nel 1999.

 

Le caratteristiche principali di questo modello erano:

  • Motore 1275cc da 63 cv ad iniezione MPi
  • Colorazioni disponibili: Island Blue (JFU), Mulberry Red (CDM), Old English White (NNX), Platinum silver (MNX), Solar red (EDM), Epson Green, Black (PMF)
  • Sedili in pelle con piping a contrasto, cruscotto in metallo, strumenti cromati e scritta "MINI 40" tra l'indicatore dell'acqua e l'indicatore del carburante.
  • Kit decalcomanie esterne "MINI 40", decalcomania cromata GB sul retro
  • Pneumatici da 13 pollici con cerchi in lega e kit Sportpack
  • Volante in pelle con airbag e radica
  • Griglia e paraurti cromati, optional il tettuccio apribile Webasto
  • Autoradio con lettore CD, e 2 fanalini rally
  • Solo 300 esemplari per il mercato italiano
