    In passato per risolvere questo problema software è bastato reinstallare da capo i codici FSC tramite il pacchetto di riparazione (repair pack) specifico per il numero di telaio della MINI. Ad ogni modo se in BMW hanno ritenuto opportuno cambiare tutta la centralina, ci sarà stato qualche altro motivo tecnico..
