Immaginate una MINI in grado di competere con una vettura di Formula 1...

Questa MINI esiste, ed è stata progettata per partecipare alla leggendaria corsa in salita americana di Pikes Peak in Colorado.

La scocca è quella della MINI Paceman realizzata in carbonio ultraleggero, il telaio è di tipo tubolare mentre il motore è un V6 3.8L bi-turbo di derivazione Nissan GTR che eroga circa 900cv il tutto per un peso super contenuto di soli 950 Kg.

L'aerodinamica è stata curata nei minimi dettagli per garantire un ottima tenuta di strada a questo bolide, da notare l'ala anteriore in stile F1.

Quest'auto ha partecipato all'evento nell'anno 2013, ma è stata avvistata anche in altre gare ed esposizioni come al Festival Of Speed di Goodwood in UK.

    A me sembra più una Countryman senza gli sportelli posteriori. Non vedo il tetto che "cala" al posteriore.
